With A/W just around the corner, i’m trying the make the most of my summer wardrobe before falling headfirst into a pile of chunky knits and fluffy coats. Fortunately, we have had a few sunny days to make the most before the cold weather hits.

Waistcoats have been a staple in many wardrobes this summer (especially mine!). Luckily for me, I can continue to wear them throughout A/W, thrown over a chunky knit or long sleeve top to mix up an outfit and add an extra layer.

My fellow bloggers will know sometimes theres no-one around to take some photos for you, which is super annoying. So to tackle this problem I bought myself a tripod and remote so I can take them myself. So thats my excuse for these photos being a bit pants, as I was just getting used to using them (plus it was raining so I couldn’t take any photos outside 😦 )

Camel is a big colour for this season, and has been for a while now. It’s featured in everyones wardrobes and in all the shops, so why not jump on the bandwagon! I now have various clothing items and accessories in camel.

I bought this lovely coat from Forever 21, and haven’t really stopped wearing it since! It fits perfectly and is now my favourite coat! Being a rain mac it keeps the rain and wind off me. It’s not super thick so is perfect for the transition from winter into spring.

HELLO 2015! OOTD #8

Happy New Year everyone!! I hope everyone had a lovely New Years Eve and brought in the new year with the people you love and didn’t get too merry (I know I did!) Feels nice to begin fresh with another year knowing that I have so much to look forward to.

I went for a lovely meal and drinks with my boyfriend, Lewis and his sister and her boyfriend. We then went back to Lewis’s house and had a few more drinks and brought the new year in with his family.

Clutch – MissSelfridge

Shoes – Newlook (Had them a while, hence the scratches haha)

2014 has been a great year with lots of interesting things happening:

  • I turned 18 at the beginning of the year
  • Passed my driving test (third time lucky) and bought my first car
  • I went on an all girls holiday to Tenerife
  • I got into university and have already met some amazing people that I know will be in my life forever
  • I did my first Tough Mudder and helped raise £1500 for Diabetes UK!!
  • I also took part in a 5k ‘Santa Dash’ for charity
  • Started my blog!

Every year I always think of a million and one resolutions for the new year and never end up sticking to any of them! However, this time I’m determined to succeed. My resolutions are:

  • Get back into going to the gym (and go frequently!) and get that bikini body I need for my month holiday to Florida in July
  • Begin to eat A LOT more healthy
  • Save money
  • Blog more
  • Live life to the full (cheesy I know!)

I wish everyone a lovely new year and hope 2015 is good to you all!

OOTD #7

Hello readers,

Yesterday, in-between stuffing myself silly with another roast dinner and chocolates, i finally got round to taking some photos. I apologise for the lack of blog posts at the moment but I’ve been super busy at work and university and didn’t have my own camera so was relying on others to be free to use. HOWEVER, i have just bought my own in the boxing day sales!! I’m so pleased and can finally take some more photos for my blog.

So being my usual self, i chose to wear an all black outfit but styled it with a camel fedora and my new leopard print sneakers. As you can always see I love wearing black because it goes with EVERYTHING, perfect! And the colour camel is something everyones wearing but by just having a hat in that colour means its not screaming out look at me, but is still on trend. My leopard print sneakers were a christmas present that i absolutely love and waited for ever to get them! But they are super comfy  but look really cool and match my fedora perfectly!
